In November 2019, I travelled to Italy. Milan. Florence. The plan was simple.
But people I met kept asking: “Why aren’t you going to Sicily? That’s where your ancestors are from…”
So I went. I arrived in Catania on the 21st of November.
Back home, I searched the immigration records. My great-grandfather had arrived in Argentina on the 9th of November, 1925 by ship, from Naples. I had arrived in Catania on the 21st of November, 2019. Ninety-four years later. The same month. I hadn’t planned it.
Some places call us before we know why. Some pain travels through generations without ever being named. And sometimes, something very old moves us, before the mind understands it.
That is what I explore in Family Constellations. Not to romanticise the past. But to understand what we carry without knowing it. And what we can, finally, let go.
After 20 years working in travel, Sole trained as a Family Constellations facilitator, and realised both paths were always pointing to the same thing. Sol Experiences is where they meet: ancestral journeys, held with intention.
