Day 1 – DEPARTURE CITY – MEXICO CITY
Arrival at Mexico City Airport. Private transfer to a boutique hotel in a lively and authentic neighbourhood such as Roma or Condesa. Welcome dinner at a restaurant featuring traditional Mexican cuisine with a creative twist. Overnight stay.
Day 2 – MEXICO CITY: Historic Centre & Street Art
Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic drive along Paseo de la Reforma, passing iconic landmarks like the Angel of Independence, the Monument to the Revolution, and the Palace of Fine Arts.
Walking tour of the Zócalo, Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace (home to Diego Rivera’s murals), and the Templo Mayor ruins.
Lunch on a rooftop terrace overlooking the Historic Centre.
In the afternoon: guided street art tour through Roma and Doctores, exploring powerful urban murals that reflect Mexico’s creative soul. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – MEXICO CITY – TEOTIHUACÁN PYRAMIDS
Breakfast. Departure to the archaeological site of Teotihuacán, with expert guide. Explore the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, Avenue of the Dead, and Temple of Quetzalcoatl.
Lunch featuring regional flavours. Artisanal mezcal tasting with a local producer. Return to Mexico City. Free time to explore cafés, craft markets or design shops. Overnight stay.
Day 4 – FRIDA & THE COLOURS OF THE SOUL
Breakfast. A full day dedicated to Frida Kahlo’s life, art and legacy – a journey into identity, resilience and creative expression.
Visit to Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo Studio Museum in San Ángel, followed by a tour of Coyoacán, a bohemian district with cobbled streets and colourful façades.
Guided visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum – La Casa Azul (entry included), an intimate space that reveals her personal world, her art, and her pain transformed into beauty.
Lunch in a historic local restaurant. Afternoon visit to the Leon Trotsky House Museum, offering insights into Frida’s political surroundings. Return to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 5 – MEXICO CITY: Chapultepec & Museums
Breakfast. Visit to Chapultepec Castle, once the imperial and presidential residence, with panoramic views over the city.
Explore the world-renowned National Museum of Anthropology, home to the cultures and symbols that inspired Mexican artists, including Frida.
Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit to the Soumaya Museum, showcasing an impressive private collection of international and Mexican art.
Free time in Polanco, one of the city’s most elegant districts. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 – CUERNAVACA & TAXCO
Breakfast. Drive to Cuernavaca, the “City of Eternal Spring”, for a short visit to the Borda Garden and Colonial Cathedral.
Continue to Taxco, a charming colonial town famed for its silver craftsmanship. Lunch and visit to local silver workshops – a tradition admired by Frida for its indigenous roots and artistry.
Free time to wander the cobbled streets. Return to Mexico City. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 – CHOLULA & PUEBLA
Breakfast. Visit to Cholula’s Great Pyramid, the largest by volume in the world, crowned by the Church of Our Lady of Remedies.
Lunch and journey to Puebla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its baroque architecture and culinary heritage.
Return to Mexico City. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 – MEXICO CITY: Free Day & Farewell Dinner
Free day to enjoy optional experiences: local markets, contemporary galleries, artisan workshops, or a Mexican cooking class.
Farewell dinner in a venue that celebrates Mexico’s artistic and cultural richness. Overnight stay.
